Stock Transactions and Shabbat

Question:

Rabbi, is it permissible to set up a stock transaction which would be triggered when a stock reached a certain level (buy or sell)........and then the transaction ends up taking place on Shabbat or Yom Tov? Thanks.

AskTheRabbi.org answered:

Yes, you can. You are not actively doing anything forbidden on Shabbat and it is not even dependent on your order as the transaction is triggered by the actions of others.
