If you do not believe in God, can you still be Jewish?
AskTheRabbi.org answered:
A Jew is always a Jew regardless of what they do or do nor believe in. Not believing in God does not remove a person's Jewish status. The person will always be Jewish but a non-belief in God does not remove the fact that God exists and the person will have to give an accounting to God at the end of the person's days on this world.
