Prayer for Pet

My cat is dying, what prayers can I say for him? And what can I say once he passes? He really is like a brother to me and my best friend. Are there any resources?

There are no prayers that I am familiar with that are specifically for your situation. I would recommend that you take any of the chapters of Psalms that touches your inner emotions and recite them with heartfelt feeling. I also think that you can compose your own prayer that allows them you express your most innermost feelings in an intensely personal way.
