What constitutes a Jewish cemetery? I belong to a small synagogue, and someone raised this question.
AskTheRabbi.org answered:
A Jewish cemetery is a plot of land that has been designated for burying Jewish bodies. It can be designated within a non-Jewish cemetery as long as it is surrounded by some kind of railing that differentiates it from the non-Jewish section.
