If a person dies on the 30th day of a Jewish month, when is his yahrzeit if on the following year the month has only 29 days?
AskTheRabbi.org answered:
The accepted custom is that if a person passes away on the thirtieth of Cheshvan or Kislev and the next year (which is the first Yahrzeit) there are only twenty nine days in the month the Yahrzeit is commemorated on the twenty ninth of the month.
