Why Eat Only Manna?

Question:

While the Jewish People were wandering in the desert with their flocks and herds for 40 years, why didn't they eat from those animals?

AskTheRabbi.org answered:

The Sages teach that the Manna was given to the Jewish Nation in the desert because it was a food that was miraculous and required little or no preparation. It was food that also did not generate any wastage which meant that as the Jewish People walked through the desert they were not encumbered with having to find places that millions of people could relieve themselves.
