Which Day Bris?

Question:

If a child is born on Sunday morning when should the bris be performed? Some say Sunday and some say Monday. Thank you.

AskTheRabbi.org answered:

According to Jewish Law the Bris is on the eighth day after the birth with the day of the birth being the first day. That means that a baby born on Sunday (until sunset) has his Bris the following Sunday if he is healthy.
