Sponsorship

Here in the United States there are many child sponsorship charitable programs for needy children all over the world. However, I never encountered such a program that included children living in Israel. Can you recommend me any such organization where I could sponsor an Israeli child? Thank you.

There are, unfortunately, several orphanages in Jerusalem that cater for all kinds of children in need. Two of the most famous are the Diskin Orphanage: 972 2 652 2271 and Kiryat Banot: 972 2 625 7986.
